Donoghue Packaging & Logistics — trading as Donpack — are specialist manufacturers of corrugated, wood and foam protective packaging. We operate from a modern 120,000 sq ft production facility in Bandon, Co. Cork, with the capacity to run anything from low-volume prototype work to the high-volume demands of a blue chip customer base across Ireland, the UK and Eastern Europe.
We are not a box distributor. We are a design-and-manufacture partner: an onsite design team working in current CAD software, full manufacturing drawing sets held under document control, and a dedicated finished-goods warehouse configured for customer J.I.T. requirements. Repeat customers get an identical product, drawing revision to drawing revision, every time.
Corrugated, wood, foam, plastic and consumables are all manufactured or supplied in-house, which is what makes composite packs — foam internals inside a triple-wall case on a plywood skid — a single purchase order rather than three.

Donpack has over 30 years’ experience designing and manufacturing bespoke industrial packaging across a diverse range of industries. Our onsite design team uses the latest CAD design software and produces full manufacturing drawing sets, maintained through our document-management system.
That is the part that matters on a repeat order: your pack in twelve months’ time is built from the same controlled drawing as the one that passed qualification.

When the logistics and cost of moving large plant or high-tech machinery make it uneconomic to ship packaging in and product out, our Mobile Packing & Crating Division works at your facility instead.
Donoghue Packaging provides factory, plant and machinery relocation services — securement, packing and crating carried out onsite at your facility, in both collapsible and rigid form, with all crates stackable. We also supply a full range of barrier foil materials to protect product against moisture in transit.
For customers shipping delicate components or high-tech electronics, we design and supply floater decks and shock pallets, and fabricate closed-cell cushioning foam in the grades those loads require.
Every job has different requirements and different deadlines. To make sure each is supplied with the correct products and hits the customer’s date, we appoint a Project Manager to every project.

All wood packaging conforms to ISPM 15. The IPPC symbol and manufacturer’s code appear on solid wood packaging — stamps issued by the National Standards Authority of Ireland.
A World Trade Organisation treaty put the weight of 115 countries behind International Plant Protection Convention measures against pest spread in wood packaging. Solid wood packaging must carry an internationally recognised mark; processed wood (plywood/composite made using glue, heat and pressure) qualifies separately. To hold IPPC approval, suppliers submit to regular audits confirming an approved heat or fumigation treatment for pest kill or removal — which is exactly why buyers ask for a stamped supplier rather than a cheaper one.
